Season 1
First season began with an old episode from Original CSI, Cross Jurisdictions and continues with Golden Parachute. In second episode Losing Face, Humphery dies while defusing a bomb. Caine marries Eric’s Sister Marisol. Speedle and Delko investigate a murder in which a man is burnt from inside.
Allex finds out in ‘Dead Woman Walking’ a victims were being killed by exposure to radiation poisoning. In slaughterhouse, the entire family is murdered and only a blood soaked toddler survives and evidences change the Team’s perception. In Kill Zone, an unidentified sniper selects his victims randomly and he leaves no clue behind and it’s difficult for team to predict his next victims. The season ends up with episode Body Count leaving Horatio in trouble as two cold blooded inmates have absconded from prison and got their next victims.

Dispo Day is the highest rated episode of the first season of CSI. In this episode CSI team is investigating Drug rip off and their own officers are held accused. Speedle is going into a truck with drugs to be destroyed and the truck is hi jacked by thieves and Speedle is shot along with killing of driver. Horatio is taken harshly by media and they relate the incident to his brother, an undercover cop’s killing in the past. Internal Affairs decide that somebody from the team has hinted thieves about the departure of truck.
